Who we are
Grove Point Environmental is based in the central region of Alabama and provides environmental permitting services to clients across the state. The company specializes in helping developers, contractors, and property owners navigate regulatory requirements for single-family residential construction, subdivisions, industrial operations, and commercial development projects. A core area of expertise is compliance with the Alabama National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) program, which is administered by the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) to regulate stormwater and wastewater discharges in order to protect the state’s water resources.
Through the Alabama NPDES program, construction and industrial sites that discharge stormwater associated with their activities are required to obtain permit coverage and implement best management practices to minimize pollution. Grove Point Environmental assists clients with preparing and submitting permit applications, developing Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), and designing erosion and sediment control strategies that meet ADEM requirements. The company also supports ongoing compliance by providing inspections, documentation, and guidance to help ensure projects remain in good standing throughout construction and operation.
By combining regulatory knowledge with practical field experience, Grove Point Environmental helps clients efficiently secure permit coverage, reduce environmental risk, and maintain compliance with state and federal environmental regulations.
